Sayings 1(諺語 1)

1. Fine feathers do not make fine birds. 酒肉賓朋，柴米夫妻。
2. A fair woman without virtue is like palled wine. 美女無德如酒無味。
3. A thing of beauty is a joy forever. 美的事物是永恆的喜悅。
4. All cats are grey in the dark. 貓在黑暗中通通都是灰色的。
5. Kindness comes of will. 仁慈來自意志。
6. It is well to profit by the folly of others. 前車可鑒。
7. Beauty fades like a flower. 紅顏薄命。
8. Beauty may have fair leaves, yet bitter fruit. 美麗長出漂亮的葉子，卻生出苦辣的果實。
