Sayings 2(諺語 2)
1. Don't wash your dirty linen in public. 家醜不外揚。
2. Give a thief enough rope and he'll hang himself. 多行不義必自斃。
3. Give knaves an inch and they will take a yard. 得寸進尺。
4. He who rides a tiger is afraid to dismount. 騎虎難下。
5. No cross, no crown. 吃得苦中苦,方為人上人。
6. It is better to learn a certain trade than to possess a large fortune. 腰纏萬貫,不若一技在身。
7. A hedge between keeps friendship green. 君子之交淡如水。
8. While the grass grows the horse starves. 遠水解不了近渴。
