1. Never try to prove what nobody doubts.此地無銀三百兩。
2. A man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds. 一個光說不做的人好像一個花園,裏面
長滿都是野草。
3. A word before is worth two behind. 事前一句勝過事後兩句。千金難買早知道。
4. A word is enough to the wise. 智者一點就明。
5. Action is the proper fruit of knowledge. 行動是知識的卓越果實。
6. Brave actions never want a trumpet. 英勇的行為永遠不需要吹噓。
7. Deeds are males, and words are females. 「做」是男人的事,「說」是女人的事。
8. Deeds, not words. 言出必行。
9. Few words are best. 少說為妙。
10. Fine words butter no parsnips. 口惠而實不至。
